Hot on the heels of the "Taste of Succulence EP', Adam Tenenbaum (Nectar) and Sean Kamano brave the fog and swing back into the Grayhound camp with new insights for those with ears to listen.

'The Nature of Things' is a varied three tracker from California's hottest rising stars. Warm keys underly the A side's 'Beads', pushing Succulent into deep house turf.

On the flipside 'The Nature of Things' remains true to the signature sound: deep throbbing bass and drums and just the right use of Adam's trademark effects to take it over the top.

But we saved the best surprise 'til the end. 'Opening' is a downbeat family affair, weighing in at 108 bpm with live drums from Adam's brother Keith and dub production that defies gravity.

With names like Laurent Garnier, Andrew Weatherall, Josh Wink, Hipp-E and Groove Armada championing Succulent's originality in a scene full of soundalikes, and rave reviews in mags like Jockeyslut, 7, Mixmag, DJ & BPM it comes as no surprise that Canada's top jocks placed them at #1 with Stickmen's Underground Record Pool last year.
