This is an open box of vintage IBM® ViaVoice™ 98 Executive dictation kit. The contents inside this box are brand new! (See photos.) This box has some wear and tear to it and the contents inside it has not been affected. The box contains a headphone set, CD-ROM software, User Guide, brochures, foam ear pad and plug adapters. These works on most IBM-compatible computer systems and notebooks. The headset has a microphone boom and it has not been used. The headset was manufactured by Andrea Electronics Corporation for IBM® Corporation. The gray adapter is the signal adapter for the microphone end and the purple adapter is the for the IBM® ThinkPad™ notebooks. These adapters are still sealed in plastic! (See photo.) The CD-ROM contains the dictation program version 5.2 which is for Windows '95®, Windows '98®, Windows NT® 4.0 or newer. This is also a voice recognition program that allows you to speak while it types for you and that means no more typing and having achy fingers! This also works on other programs such as Microsoft Office, Corel® WordPerfect™, Internet Explorer and more! See more details in the photo. There is a newer version of the IBM® ViaVoice™ program for newer Windows versions such as Windows XP® or newer available online by simply typing in "IBM ViaVoice" and search it or go to http://www.ibm.com/viavoice. Great for small and mid-sized businesses and also great for home office businesses!
