Warranty Policy

We offer our customers a 30-day limited bumper-to-bumper manufacturers warranty on all X-Treme scooters (90 days on certain models). The warranty starts the day the scooter is delivered to you. This warranty covers factory defects and defaults only. We do not cover misuse or broken parts caused by the user or by any other event. X-Treme will pay for standard shipping service costs on the first warranty shipment only. Any additional warranty parts that are needed will require the customer to pay all shipping and handling costs.
We offer a full 6-month even trade warranty on defective batteries (1 year on certain models). If any battery should become faulty within 6 months from the purchase date they will replace the battery free of charge. We may require that old batteries be returned to them for exchange. If you have questions about the warranty, please click here to e-mail us your question. The tech support department is open Monday through Friday 9AM to 5PM Central Standard Time and you will have FREE lifetime access to the technical support hotline after the purchase of your scooter is complete.

Limited Warranty
What is covered & what is not covered:
1. Scooter Body: Damage to any plastic/fiberglass part that is a result of shipping is covered only if it occurred during shipping. Shipping damage must be reported within 1 day to be covered under warranty. Otherwise, the plastic/fiberglass body parts are not covered under this warranty. If, after careful inspection by our shipping department and FedEx, it is determined that the scooter was damaged during shipping, free replacement parts will be sent out to you.
2. Tires, tubes & kick stands: These items are NOT covered unless they are damaged as a result of shipping.

Return Policy:

Scooter & pocket bike returns are not allowed. We will however during the 30-day warranty period, provide you with free parts, & free live telephone technical support. Please contact our support department should you need assistance. We never issue call tags or pay the costs of returning an item.

Rate Cut Hobby is not responsible for the proper or improper use of merchandise sold. We care about our customers and urge you to exercise caution and take necessary safety measures to protect yourself while engaging in cycling. Rate Cut Hobby encourages, begs, and asks that you wear a helmet and use appropriate lighting while riding at night regardless of the legal requirements in your particular state. Potential customers, you should check with your local law enforcement agency before purchasing about age requirements for riding electric & gas scooters. Some states may have laws restricting the use of scooters on public streets, generally all states allow them on private property such as campgrounds, parks etc....but many states have age requirements and most states require helmets and protective equipment to be worn by certain age children. Pocket bikes with racing slicks should not be used on wet or slippery roads. Please always scoot safely. Know your laws before you go scootin. We will not take back a scooter if you find your laws do not permit your child to ride it. Check first.

Rate Cut Scooters strongly believes in protecting the privacy of our customers. We have taken many steps to ensure all information collected by Rate Cut Scooters is kept safe.

Rate Cut Scooters uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption technology to ensure the security of your online order information and to keep your personal information safe. SSL encrypts all contact and billing information exchanged to and from Rate Cut Scooters and our customers preventing unauthorized access to this information.

We may use Cookies and Java technology to enhance your shopping experience. Any information collected by these cookies will not be used for any purpose other than to enhance the user experience and will not be shared with any other party.

Rate Cut Scooters values your privacy. We are committed to providing our customers the utmost security of their information and will not share our customers' information with third parties. All credit card information is stored on a server protected by firewall security and credit card numbers are deleted after 45 days.

We will from time to time send our customers e-mails about product updates and store specials. If you wish not to receive these communications or you received these communications in error, please e-mail us. Please include the e-mail address which you wish to remove and we will remove that address from the mailing list.

 

Shipping Policy

We strive to get items to our customers in a timely manner.  All orders are shipped within one or two business days of receipt.  We will email you if there is a problem and will send you a tracking number promptly so your package can be tracked.  Please check the item description for shipping charges.
