I have always loved Cut Velvet or otherwise known as Devore Burn out Velvet.  It is a very intricate and difficult technique of taking velvet fabric and using a gel used to create Devore (a centuries' old French technique which means devour) or "burnout" effects in fabric blends, and is used by top designers to create fabulous looks. This is a fabulous scarf. It is Purple with black trim. This is wonderful to wear with black or any color to bring color into your life. It has purple, rust, turqoise, orange, olive, black and what more could you ask for in a beautiful correct asscessory? These are hand made and hand stiched silk.
