Story of an old bear hunter who understands he is getting too old to track and hunt bears, but suddenly is attacked by a huge mountain bear. The bear is dangerous to the community as it does not hibernate in winter and attacks the village for food.
The old man teaches his grandson the art of bear hunting before going on the big hunt to kill this bear. He is determined to take the bear's life, even if this process means sacrificing his own in the process.
