Gokai Senryo Yari - This thrilling story depicts the friendship between Ronin Fuwa Mondo, master of the Shindo Muen Dojo, whose life is dedicated to mastering the spear, and a passionate young Nobleman, Gennosuke, second son of Shogun Yoshimune.

When Mondo chastises a young girl for reckless horsemanship within the city limits her shame is felt by her brother a Shogun Hatamoto, and his fellow Hatamoto of the Sword Guard Group. Contemptuous of a Ronin acting in such a manner they try to retaliate, but none are the match against Mondo's intrepid skill with the spear.

The young girl, Suzue, and Gennosuke are in love, but their stations in life forbid such a liason and yet Gennosuke has no desires to wed another. When one of the clans decide to wed their princess to the Shogun's son, Gennosuke turns them down flat.

Feeling they have no alternative, an evil plan is hatched to have Suzue murdered...... but can Mondo and Gennosuke thwart the devious plan to kill Suzue? Will those whom conspire against the Shogun's son be brought to justice? What happens next must be seen to be believed!
