Taitei No Ken - Much like the film ZIPANG,  'Sword of Alexander' is a fast paced action comedy that makes fun of the Samurai genre as much as it honors it.

"Oriharukon," the Sword of Alexander the Great, made from a mysterious metal, falls into the hands Genkuro Yorozu, a tall, lanky, devil-may-care Samurai. His weapon, which looks to be as long as a high jump pole, gives its user superpowers. There are two other objects made of this metal on the planet -- a cross and a double-bladed dagger. The one who possesses all three will be able to rule the world.

Genkuro is on a quest to find them and, an indication of his good-guy character, present them to someone worthy of them. On his travels he encounters Princess Mai, on the run after her family castle was destroyed by the forces of Tokugawa -- the clan that recently gained control over the entire country. With her is Sasuke, a weedy-looking ninja who is her sole bodyguard, and when enemies attack from all sides, Gentaro learns to wield the sword and bring heavenly fury on those that stand in his way.
