Sequel to the Japanese epic, Yagyu Secret Scrolls - The Yagyu
Bugeicho scrolls, kept in three separate households, could bring war to
17th-century Japan and ruin to the Yagyu family if they are put
together.
The Ryuzoji clan, led by Princess Yuhime, steals one of the
scrolls, and the Yagyus send Jubei, their eldest son, to retrieve it. A
competing clan assigns Master Ninja Tasaburo and his brother Senshiro to find
two of the three scrolls, but during a struggle for its possession, the stolen
scroll is torn in half by the brothers. The two soon part ways, and Senshiro continues his
mission, while Tasaburo stays behind with Princess Yuhime.
Jubei soon encounters the princess with Tasaburo's half of the
scroll and kills her, but not before she is able to drop the scroll into a
river. Tasaburo pursues Jubei, who finds Senshiro with the other half of the
stolen scroll.
For most viewers, it is necessary to see Part I in order to
fully understand the complexities of Part II.
