Abashiri Prison is located in the coldest place in Japan. Two men are attached by handcuffs. One of them is Shinichi Tachibana, a model prisoner with six months remaining in his sentence. The other, Gonda, is a low life scoundrel with five previous criminal arrests. While they hated each other, they are both involved in a daring jail break when Gonda and other inmates escape from the prison. Attached to each other by handcuffs, their pursuers’ gun shots exploding behind them, they have no choice but to run through the endless field of snow…
