Two rival biker gangs, the Red Baron's and the Black Panthers, are involved in an intense rivalry, the tale of an urban tug-o-war between two rival motorcycle gangs in Tokyo. It’s the Red Barons vs. the Black Panthers! The Red Baron gang encompasses members of the more well to do faction of Tokyo while the Black Panthers are a bunch of ragamuffin inspired street demons who work day to day blue collar jobs. But the love of working class seamstress Yuki transcends gang boundaries when she falls for a reformed Baron while trying to placate her brother, a loyal Black Panther.

The film owes a massive debt to Robert Wise's West Side Story, as the rivals engage in bizarre finger popping face offs accompanied by supper club jazz music.
