Nidaime wa Christian - An action comedy about a nun becoming the successor to the throne of a Yakuza clan.

The story of beautiful Christian Nun, Sister Kyoko (Shihomi), who was the object of affection between two very different men - one the happy-go-lucky Yakuza gangster Haruhiko who was the next-in-line to takeover the ragtag "Tenryu Gumi" gang and the other a bumbling Police Detective named Kumashiro.

The Tenryu Gumi gang is a collection of misfits and other troublemakers who are relatively peaceful due to their Christian beliefs. Their bitter rivals were the more traditional "Kuroiwa Gumi", a much more sadistic and violent group led by godfather Kuroiwa. But Kyoko soon finds herself as the second-generation boss of a Yakuza gang when her husband is murdered on their wedding day. She must now choose between her duties as a Christian OR as a Yakuza boss when the rival gang starts invading their turf.

The Second is a Christian was made near the end of Etsuko's action-film career. The role is more like the Red Peony Gambler chivalrous lady Yakuza series.
