New REK-O-KUT RE-EQUALIZER II Stereophile's Art Dudley+Noiseless+Flexibility

Price: $359.95

REK-O-KUT RE-EQUALIZER II
Please Read Notice Below

Pre-1955 records were recorded to different standard than now employed in RIAA equalized phono amplifiers.  The Re-Equalizer compensates for this.  Easily installed thru the external tape monitor circuit or your preamplifier/receiver or via the SuperConnector.

"If anything, I'm as amazed by the Re-Equalizer's apparent noiselessness as by its obvious flexibility"

Art Dudley, STEREOPHILE MAGAZINE, January, 2009

"The only thing to say about this is that it is a pity that I didn’t buy it long time ago. This piece of equipment is really necessary for playback of 78’s"

On Stereophile Magazine List of Recommended Components

* Accurate reproduction from any source is accomplished by producing an accurate equalization difference curve to compensate the output of your RIAA phono preamp

* Passive equalization design & film capacitors assure low TIM and transparent sound.

* High input impedance for use with either tube or solid-state amplifier outputs.

Another satisfied customer

A little while ago, I purchased the Re-Equalizer, Surface Noise Reducer and De-Hisser, along with the CVS14 with a Grado 78 Cartridge.

Last night I was kicking back with a glass of red while spinning some Duke Ellington 78's.  I've got about 3500 78's, which is smallish compared to the serious collectors, but they all have been cleaned, re enveloped and stored in alphabetical order.  So, I can grab any disc that I fancy.

Anyway, the Duke was coming through crystal clear. I thought this equipment is pretty good.  It really brings back the fun in playing 78's, allowing me to throw on just about any disk I feel like ..., and it will sound anywhere from good to fabulous.

So, thanks for the good work making this equipment available.
