About Loog Guitars:

Loog Guitars is our first music instrument curated for pre-school and elementary children players. Loog started as an academic project in 2010 when Rafael Atijas developed the concept as his Master's thesis at NYU. The fact the Loog Guitar was conceived in an university actually explains a lot about the company's culture. The main goal is not to make the most profit, but to offer a product that is unique and well designed.

It's finally here and it's spectacular! The Electric Loog is fun, cute and small, but it's not a toy. It's a real guitar, made out of real wood and equipped with a screaming lipstick-style pickup that sounds amazing whatever style you play.

We designed this guitar to make it fun and easy to play music. We also believe that we you build your own guitar you develop a deep connection with it, and that is why we ship your Loog unassembled. Putting it together only takes 15 mins but its a profound experience that will help you understand and love the instrument.
