Origin of Wood Type: South America

Species: Cabriuva Vermelha (Myroxylon, balsamum)

Description: Rich reddish brown color, exceptionally fine grained, very hard, and extremely stable.

The hardness of this wood makes it ideal for flooring;  although it is also used for furniture, interior trim and turnery.
