Persol is a legendary trade-name, with glasses worn by show-business, arts and sports personalities all over the world. In 1917, in Turin (Italy) Giuseppe Ratti, photographer and owner of optics Berry began his adventure to culminate in an international success.
He started to realize technically advanced eyewear designed to meet the needs of pilots and sports-people.
In 1938 he created the brand Persol, the union of the Italian words " per sole " (for sun)
