The imprinting on all my ceramic items, cups, tiles, etc and most of the soft goods such as the Beverage Wrap and Mouse Pads is done by a process called Sublimation. Basically the image is printed on special "transfer" paper using ink designed for the process. The image is transferred to the ceramic item (which has received a polymer coating) at 400 degrees and high pressure. The image becomes a part of the item. It will not wear off or be scratched off.
