Vibratory tumbling is an economical finishing technique which gives you a more uniform finish on large quantities of parts, in much less time than standard hand finishing, without the mess. It maintains the overall shape of the pieces and allows you to check the progress of the work without stopping the unit. Compact, yet durable, the Vigor vibratory tumblers are donut shaped for uniform polishing and maximum coverage. The heavy polyethylene lids and bowls remove easily and quickly for emptying and cleaning. Units have two valves and a strainer for optional flow-through operaction (except No. 47.785) Ball-bearing motors operate at relatively low noise levers, have thermal overload protection and are 3000 RPM at 60/Hz. As a guideline, to determine the right size tumbler for your needs, each cubic foot (.028 cu. m) of capacity will hold approximately 500 ladies rings. Nos. The 3 quart sizes will hold 50, the 6 quart size will hold 100 and he 4 3/4 gallon size will hold 300.
