Antique Book - the Year of Battles by L.P. Brockett printed in 1871

Comprising A History of The Origin and Causes of the Franco-German War of 1870-1871, The Biographies of The King of Prussia, The Ex-Emperor of France, And The Statesmen And Generals of The Two Countries; The Financial, Social And Military Condition of Each, The Weapons In Use, And An Accurate History of All The Military Movements And Battles of The War, The Revolution In France, The Surrender of Paris; The Conclusion of The War, The Treaty of Peace, And The Organization of A Provisional Government.

Has alot of cover wear, about 1/2" of the top of the spine is torn off, binding is loose, pages are slightly discolored but not torn. (See pictures).  Book is 140 years old. Great old book for collectors.

Includes a map of western Europe that I think was attached to the back of the cover. The Map has several large tears in it.
