Beautiful vintage Taxco sterling silver, and abalone shell elephant pin. This piece is done as a cute elephant with his trunk in a semi upward position. The elephant is marked on the back Sterling, TL9? with a sticker that says Mexico, there are other letters on the impressed mark, but I cannot maker them out. The pin is in excellent condition, and measures approximately 1 1/8" wide, and 1" in height. This would make a wonderful addition to your Taxco  or Mexican jewelry collection.
