Lovely vintage Nippon covered butter dish. This piece is done in a gold drop decoration with a pretty flower detail with arch all around the rim on the top, and bottom. There is gold trim, and the top is done with gold. There is wear to the trim, and top, The piece came with a strainer type piece that sits in the bottom. The dish measures approximately 2 1/2" in height, with the lid on, and 5" in diameter. It has no chips or cracks, and is marked on the bottom Hand painted Nippon with the rising sun mark in blue. A beautiful piece to add to your Nippon collection, or use for trinkets or other items. Please see pictures as an addition to description.
