This is a salt scrub meant for pre-manicure use on hands. It consists mostly of salt, oils, wax, and fragrance and is easy to reproduce at home for pennies. The problem with using this right before a manicure is that the oils and wax will coat your nails, leaving a film that prevents even application and prevents the nail polish from adhering. We suppose you could go over your nails with acetone or isopropyl alcohol after using this hand scrub, but why bother—not to mention the salt can be needlessly abrasive on nails and around cuticles (a sugar-based scrub would be gentler).
