This is a pre-owned book that was part of the Metropolitan Seminars in Art series, portfolio 5 by John Canaday from1958. It covers Composition as Pattern and has 12 loose color plates (see samples in the second photo), held in a pocket on the inside front cover, illustrating paintings he covers in the book. Also included in the pocket is page with review questions and a one page overview of the subject covered in the booklet. The booklet has 31 pages. The book and color plates are in good condition.
