This is a pre-owned book that was part of the Metropolitan Seminars in Art series, portfolio 2 by John Canaday from1958. It covers Realism and has 11 (plate 21 is missing) loose color plates (see samples in the second photo), held in a pocket on the inside front cover, illustrating paintings he covers in the book.
