  This auction is for a Minelab Excalibur 1000 Metal Detector.   

The Excalibur 1000 detector has been designed 

specifically for underwater treasure hunting and is an upgrade to the very 

successful Excalibur detector.  

Excalibur detectors use Minelab's unique Broad Band Spectrum (BBS) 

technology, which enables them to transmit automatically at 17 individual 

frequencies at the same time.  

The benefits of multiple frequency technology are numerous and include 

increased depth, greater sensitivity to non-ferrous metal objects, increased 

accuracy in target indication, and increased stability under most conditions.

The Excalibur is the highest performing and most reliable underwater 

discriminating detector available in the world today. It is designed to be used 

up to a depth of 200 feet, or when wading in shallow water, or on land.  

Excalibur detectors are designed to locate valuable metal objects in high trash 

areas and in areas of either extreme salt or ground mineralization, conditions 

that are commonly encountered by treasure hunters around the world. When 

using a single- or dual-frequency detector under these conditions, a treasure 

hunter may experience a significant loss of detection depth and discrimination 

accuracy. However, the Excalibur, with its 17 individual frequencies, 

eliminates the interference from these ground conditions and enables you to 

penetrate deeply and discriminate accurately at full depth. 

Excaliburs are easy to operate, having few controls that require adjustment 

after they have been set. The extremely advanced, yet easy-to-use 

discrimination features enable you to accurately select certain types of metals 

while rejecting unwanted objects.

I, personally, spent many years finding treasures with a Fisher underwater detector.  It paid for itself three times over.  After being away from metal detecting for several years I decided to buy the cream of the crop in detectors to start hunting again.  My research led me to the Excalibur 1000, and I was not disappointed.  I was finding treasures at depths my Fisher could not.  Unfortunately, my old knees and my desire to sleep late led me away for metal detecting.  So, sadly, I'm placing this Excalibur up for auction hoping someone else with be bitten by the treasure hunting bug.  Few products on the market will pay for themselves and do it in such an exciting manner.  Good luck and thanks for checking this detector out.

Shipping and Handling:  I'll send this item to you within 5 business days of receiving your payment.   I will send it Priority Mail or by UPS ground.  If you happen to be the buyer of another item I may be selling, I will combine the items, if possible, in an effort to save you some money.

 

Returns:While I hate to lose money, I will refund your money, if  you send a new item back within 7 days after you receive it, in the same condition in which I sent it.   If the item is pre-owned or is used, returns will be granted on a case by case basis. 

 

Shipping costs are for the 48 Contiguous United States.  If you wish to have to item shipped outside these states, contact me for a quote.  This shipping cost would have to be received by me before I would ship.
