This is a vision of hiking through the mountains and pausing by an Alpine lake. A recent cold snap has caused the leaves to sudden take on the hues of Autumn.  This lake is fed by the melting snows and the glaciers. An early Fall storm has dropped some rain and now a mist hangs close to the ground.  The winds will come next chilling the air and bringing the crisp smells of the coming winter.  Sundown comes sooner so we'd better find a place to set up camp.
