So many travelers are impressed with the beauty of the marble inlay of the Taj Mahal in Agra that they want to purchase their own work of marble art. While there, you can find studios dedicated to this art. In the studios, you can observe skilled artisans - from the design and engraving of the marble to the hand-carving and sanding of semi-precious stones, such as mother of pearl, lapis, malachite and jasper.

This trinket box and the others I have listed is a very fine example of the craftsman's art.
