Once the herbs and olive oil are blended, the mixture is stirred and boiled for 40 - 60 hours; Gamila learnt that this is the only way to ensure that hundreds of active components are released.  In comparison most 'ordinary soap' mixtures are boiled for about one hour.  After the Gamila Secret mixture has been left to harden for an initial 30-60 hours, it is cut and 'Gamila' stamped by hand.  The mixture is then left to fully harden for a period of three – six months.    Using Gamila Secret at home To activate the natural ingredients, hold the herbal cleansing bar under running water for 15 seconds before applying to the skin.  After applying, leave Gamila Secret on the skin for a few minutes before rinsing off as this will allow you to absorb the soothing benefits. • Use also as a nurturing face mask on sensitive or problematic skin or a salve for damaged skin.  For this, dissolve some into lukewarm water to create an emulsion and apply to the area.   • When using in a bath you can either dissolve a small amount of the bar into the water or you can bathe with the whole Gamila bar infusing mint aromas into the bath water.
