Kopper Kard Co., Salt Lake City, UT 1950’s- An engraving and embossing company. They are best known for their postcards made from copper dug out of the nearby open pit mine at Bingham Canyon. While these Kopper Kards are described as being engraved, the copper is actually only embossed and then folded over a paper card stock backing. They produced many images with Western themes but a whole range of other topics were captured on these cards as well.
