Up for auction we have a wonderful, hand painted 

Lidded West German Beer Stein

with raised illustrations detailing a man and a woman dancing through the woods together! She's carrying a full basket, and he has his rifle on a sling! They both seem to look very glad! There are acorns with oak leaves flanking banners on either side of the joyous couple that read:

"Bimmer entbehren."

(with a heart shaped period after it!)

and

"Fullen und leereu"

The lettering around the rim just beneath the lid reads:

"LUSTIG FASS' MICH - LUSTIG LASS' MICH"

Stamped on the bottom of the clay ceremic:

500

There is a round clear label on the bottom that reads in black:

This has no chips or cracks and is in beautiful, mint condition Suitable for gift giving to the man or woman in your life who loves a good cold beer every once in a while!
