Square Butter Pat Plate or Salt Dipper Dish

with a Sawtoothed Edge

This Little Porcelain Beauty is Blue and White

It has no chips or cracks and is in beautiful condition. It does however show subtle little manufacturer's "imperfections" such as roughness in the glaze and other firing imperfections which is normal for these very early 1800's pieces. 

It measures 2 3/4 inches x 2 3/4 inches square and sits 5/8 of an inch high off the table. Has a nice distinctive dip down into the dish from the rim.

This fine little dish could also be used as a trinket or ring dish for your dresser, vanity or desktop as well as a very nice little butter pat plate or salt dipper.

This unusual, early one would make a marvelous addition to any antique plate collection.
