BEAUTIFUL BRITAIN...…….15 volumes…… Published by A and C Black, London, in 1906......This is the Royal Canadian, a mighty rare set, a Limited Edition of onoy 1000 sets issued, this bein' #120….....Titles of the books are WALES, SURREY, SCENERY OF LONDON, VANISHING LONDON, BONNIE SCOTLAND, WARICKSHIRE, HAPPY ENGLAND, CHANNEL ISLANDS, OXFORD, SUSSEX, FAMILIAN LONDON, LONDON TO THE NORE, ENGLISH LAKES, IRELAND and WESSEX……Each book has a heap of mighty nice full-page illustrations......

    DESCRIPTION - The books are bound in full pebbled leather, with gold letterin` on spines and covers, raised bands, and marbled endpapers.....And - tops of pages tipped in gold....…Mercy!!!........

    CONDITION - The books are in overall good condition...The pages have held up real good……The covers have general wear and scuffin', a chunk of leather is torn from one volume, two volumes have creases on the spine, and six have cracked hinges……The hinges on two of the books are weak, tho not detatched, and must be handled with extra care……As you can see in the picture below, the set looks real purty a-settin' on the shelf, great to display…......All in all, a purty good set……And this one is really rare, folks - mighty tuff to find........And you'll love all them illustrations……I think you will be mighty pleased with this set...........Also, the three taller books on the end are not part of the Beautiful Britain set, and do not come with the purchase......
