This is the Cardinal Edition, undertaken to celebrate the Golden Jubilee of his Holiness, Pope Pius X……Books are very nicecly illustrated……The original publisher's presentation certificate is still inside the book....

    DESCRIPTION - Books are bound in 3/4 leather, with gold letterin` on spines, and tops of the pages tipped with gold…Mercy!!!....And these are encyclopedia size books, each book a-measurin' 11 ¼ inches high, and 9 inches across the front……...

    CONDITION - The set is in good condition...The pages are good, with some spots on the edges, and what may be a light musty smell……The covers are solid, with general wear, and covers are soiled in places……One book has a small torn area on of the spine, and chippin' at the top of its spine and cover corners….....Color and letterin' on the spines is still nice and bright……As you can see in the picture below, the set looks real purty a-settin' on the shelf, great to display and readin'…......All in all, a purty good set……I think you will be mighty pleased with it……......
