Numerous authors are included, in alphabetical order……Each book contains three very nice full-page illustrations, and a frontis piece……               

    DESCRIPTION - The books are bound in 3/4 leather, with gold letterin` on spines, marbled boards - - And –tops of the pages tipped with gold…Mercy!!!....And these are purty big books, each book a-measurin' 9 3/4 inches high, and 6 3/4 inches across the front……....

    CONDITION - The set is in used condition...The pages have held up real good……The covers are solid, with plenty of wear and scuffin', and a chunk of leather torn from the top of one volume….And the cover on volume ten is in purty bad shape, has been torn and wrinkled, and has some water stains and warps…However, the stains on this volumes only come into the very edges of the pages, and does not at all affect the text or illustrations of this book ….....On the shelf, the set has a used look, and it has been read……And on the shelf, the damaged volume won't be noticed as much because it is the last volume…......And this is a leather set that you can actually read.....…..
