DEM GOOD OLE TIMES, by Mrs. James H. Dooley...Well, sir, folks, this here book has just about left me speechless...It was dedicated to the Dear Ole Southern MAMMIES....An' it is written in the voice an' speech of a Southern Mammy...Mercy!!!!.......Now, the book was published by Doubleday in 1906 - - Lordy, even Barbara Bush ain't that old……....An' 'sides the unusuall text, it also has a whole bunch of real good pictures - illustrations I mean – and they is full-page….Mercy….!!!!...Mercy….!!!!....

    DESCRIPTION - The book is bound in cloth, with a real purty cover...It has a 150 pages, the tops of them tipped with Gold...Mercy….!!!!...Mercy….!!!!....Mercy….!!!!...........

    CONDITION - Folks, this here is right nice copy – an' a very unusuall book...The pages is mighty fine, an' the cover has some wear, mainly on the cover corners………But like I say, it's a right nice copy - I 'magine you will be right pleased to have it...An' when you an' company gets bored, this here book will shore give you somethin' to yak about...…(To tell you the truth, we don't much talk about the book 'round here – we mainly talks 'bout my Sister done married our cousin)……

    Oh, an' y'all gonna love the pictures in that there book – Why, I b'lieve the pictures by theirselfs is well worth the price…….An' one more thing, don't none of yins send me no mail a-sayin' the price is too high – As I look out the winder, I see a cow, an' a pig, an' the outhouse - - but they ain't no book tree to be seen…….
