A HISTORY OF THE EARTH AND ANIMATED NATURE, by Oliver Goldsmith...Two volumes...Published by Blackie and Son, Glasgow...I don't see a publication date, but there is a printed date from author of 1840, and there is an inscription inside of cover of November, 1881...There are numerous illustrations...

    DESCRIPTION - These here books is bound in 3/4 leather with gold letterin' on spines...

    CONDITION - Set is in overall good condition......Covers have damage - the leather is torn along half of spine on one volume, with tears at top...The other volume has cracked spine, and leather torn at top – with much more handlin', this cover will become detatched….....The text is overall purty nice, tho there is a minor tear here or there........Even with cover damage, this is a purty good set - and a rare one too….....I think you will be pleased with it...
