THE NATIONAL BURNS, Edited by George Gilfillan...Four volumes...Published by William Mackenzie...I don't see a publication date, but I believe it was possibly in the mid-1800's...Includes the airs to all the songs, and the original Life of Burns by the Editor...To be sure this is real clear, there is poetry, and some music notes included in the books……Very nicely illustrated, several full-page engravings....
DESCRIPTION - The books are bound in cloth, with gold letterin' on spine, and nicely decorative cover...Pages tipped in gold.......These are mighty big b,, each book measures 10 inches high by 8 1/2 inches across cover...…...
CONDITION - The set is in overall good condition...Bindings and pages are secure...Pages have browned with time……Covers are solid, with wear, especially at tops and bottoms of the spines and cover corners…….With heavy wear on the cover corners……Gold letterin' on covers is rubbed, but still readable…...Some wear, especially at tops of spines, and corners......Still a purty good ol' set……...……I think you will be pleased with it.........
