Charlie Weaver, Bartender, shakes the shaker mixing a drink & then samples it.  He smacks his lips, begins to turn red in the face & smoke comes out his ears!  This toy is run on two D batteries (not included).  

   He is lots of fun & laughs!

This is a description of what this toy is supposed to do.  I don't have the batteries to test it so I'm selling it for parts or not working.  This came from the estate of an antique dealer and this was in storage for years.  It was manufactured by Roy Rogers productions for Rosko Toys and sold at Wards in 1962.  It's a delightful toy for young children.  Can you imagine a toy like this today?  That's what makes it so much fun.  This piece is dirty and covered in dust.  This Charley is clean shaven as the original had a big hairy mustache.  His hairpiece is bad but it's there.  His tie is a little frazzeled on the end but the suspenders are intact and there are two areas of discloration on the back.  The shaker rattles so I think the ice cubes are in there but it's so dusty I can't see them.  The tin is in good condition after it's cleaned.  The battery holes look clean but the right hand side where the dark spot is may have been charred.  The connection on the left is a piece of round metal and on the right it is covered with a little charring.  I'm not sure what it's supposed to be.  The bottom describes what is supposed to happen.  He's adorable as parts or just for display.  If he cleans up and works he's worth 5 or 6 times what I'm asking.  He stands 13" tall and the base measures 5" square.

Due to Ebay's new feedback system I offer the following conditions on any subsequent sale.  I have been participating on Ebay since the beginning.  I expect to get what I purchase and I deliver to a Buyer what they paid for.  Buyer expectations need to be realistic.  Most Seller's have real jobs and don't live on their computers.  It is unrealistic to expect immediate gratification when purchasing an item.  I have always been a fast shipper in comparison to my experiences when buying on Ebay and yet my marks are sometimes lower because Buyers don't understand that Ebay now charges Seller's more for fees for anything other than #5 ratings.  I sell a lot of vintage items at a large discount.  I check them over with a magnifying glass and describe any material defects I see.  It is possible that I miss something now and then and I will accept a return on those items when it is something other than a matter of opinion.  Buyer must provide me with documentation of that misrepresentation as I have provided pictures in the listing.  I don't always clean the items because I don't want to de-value them.  I leave that to the Buyer. I pack the items so that they will arrive at your door in the same condition that they left mine.  I spend $500+ a year on packing material.  If your item doesn't require packing material I won't charge you the $1 fee for packing material.  Paypal is a great invention but occassionally it doesn't work properly.  If your item doesn't show as shipped within a few days please contact the Seller.  The shipping calculator is a great thing but sometimes it doesn't work properly.  If you buy and check out on your own, without me sending you an invoice, then it may happen that I have to contact you for different shipping information or costs as the calculator has been off on large items recently.  If you overpaid for shipping I will refund the difference to you except on fixed price shipping.  You may have been able to purchase an item from someone living near you for lower postage but keep in mind that I am on the West coast and shipping will be more to the Midwest and East Coast then it is to someone who lives nearer to me.  This is especially true of larger, heavier items.  I will ship parcel post or even UPS or Fed Ex if that rate is better.  I will mutually cancel a transaction if the calculator is materially off and we both agree.  But please don't make an agreement to change from priority shipping to parcel post and then ding me in feedback and ratings because shipping took too long and you received a refund from me.  That's unfair.  Please contact me with any concerns you have.  I am very reasonable and fair.  But I have never complied with blackmail or unreasonable demands.  I keep my agreements and I expect you to keep yours.  Please ask questions BEFORE you bid.  Since it is no longer your choice for insurance I will provide insurance on items that I have a concern might break in transit and will say so in the listing.  If you are interested in an item and you think it should have insurance please tell me ahead of time if I have not offered it and you can purchase it in the shipping price.  I have had the privilege of trading with a great variety of people all over the world for over 13 years and I look forward to continued fun and new experiences.  I do Ebay for relaxation and fun and will continue to do so as long as it remains relaxing and fun.  Thank you for your continued support and bids.
