This is a cute older planter made in Japan. It has two blue mice sniffing around the shoe. One is peaking out the side and one is sniffing the top before he peers over. The inside of the shoe has been used as a planter. There are no chips, cracks or repairs but it is missing glaze in a couple of spots. I think it could be touched up. It measures 4 1/2" long and 4" tall. I have seen other designs similar which are identified as Lustreware. This may be made by them also.
