1960 Capitol Records, 12 inch, 33 1/3 RPM Stereo LP, Cat. #ST 1406 , First Pressing, Black Label with Silver Print and Rainbow Outer Ring. Featuring: The Charlie Barnet Quartet. Titled: "Jazz Oasis". Song Titles Include: It's Only A Paper Moon, Things Ain't What They Used To Be, Take The 'A' Train, On The Sunny Side Of The Street, Let The Good Times Roll, In A Mellow Tone, Night And Day, Honeysuckle Rose, Rosetta, Live At Five and Charlie's Blues.

If you're not familiar with this artist/Title, here's some additional information: "At the time of this live session, Barnet was playing gigs only on an occasional basis and recording infrequently. This set really puts the emphasis on his improvising for he is heard as the only horn with a quartet (pianist Arnold Ross, bassist Bob Burteaux and drummer Roy Roten). On this fine showcase, Barnet sounds excellent on a variety of veteran standards (he was always underrated as a player) and is in spirited form".

The Vinyl is Near Mint (9-9.5 of 10) in condition. With Original Capitol Paper Inner Sleeve. The cover is very nice. The only issues to report: some very minor corner softening. Nothing serious on this near 50 year old LP!!.
