1984 CBS / Epic Records, 12 inch, 33 1/3 RPM Stereo LP, Cat. #EPC 26220 , First Pressing, Black Label with Red and White Print (Side 1) Side 2 has a replica of the ear sculpture from the cover on it and no song titles. Featuring: The Stranglers. Titled: "Aural Sculpture". Song Titles Include: 1. Ice Queen, 2. Skin Deep, 3. Let Me Down Easy, 4. No Mercy, 5. North Winds, 6. Uptown, 7. Punch & Judy, 8. Under the Name of Spain, 9. Laughing, 10. Souls and 11. Mad Hatter.

If you're not familiar with this artist/Title, here's some additional information: "A massively underrated album by a band too quickly dismissed as relevant only to the '70s — fair enough, as the accompanying statement of intent (the title was meant to be descriptive) is pretentious rubbish. Yet there is a real majesty to some of these pop compositions, notably Burnel's devastating "North Winds." The hit single "Skin Deep" is excellent, if a little self-important. Other cuts, like the infectious "Uptown" and "Mad Hatter," reveal the eternally grim Stranglers to be in a playful mood. Not quite what everyone expected, but a great album nevertheless".

The Vinyl is Near Mint (9-9.5 of 10) in condition. With Original Inner Sleeve. The cover is very nice. The only issues to report are some minor edge wear and some very slight corner softening. The shrink and sticker are still intact - the shrink has a small split near the bottom edge opening. Nothing serious on this 25 year old Import LP!!
