1989 Rough Trade Records, 12 inch, 33 1/3 RPM Stereo LP, Cat. #US 76 , First Pressing. Featuring: Scrawl. Titled: "Smallmouth". Song Titles Include: 1 Begin - 3:20, 2. Charles - 3:15, 3. Enough - 3:27, 4. Rot - 2:53, 5. Out of Mind - 2:00, 6. Absolute Torture - 2:09, 7. Hymn - 3:27, 8. Tell You What - 1:36, 9. Time to Come Clean - 2:11 and 10. I Need You - 2:28.

If you're not familiar with this artist/Title, here's some additional information: "Though Smallmouth is Scrawl's third LP, it's still the sound of a band not 100% comfortable in the studio. Confidence isn't lacking in Marcy Mays' songwriting, however, which continues to improve. The angular jab of "Time to Come Clean" purges guilt while remaining defiant ("I want to look you in the eye/ I have talked behind your back") and in "Charles," the woman wears the pants ("Put out or get out, that's the way it goes"). The band's crafty folk-punk is served up with rare emotion, closing out with a biting version of "I Need You" that is just as gripping as Eurythmics' original. The song's vulnerable-yet-sturdy theme is so fitting for Scrawl that it would be easy to mistake it for a Mays original".

The Vinyl is Near Mint (9-9.5 of 10) in condition. With Original Rough Trade Inner Sleeve. The cover is very nice. The only issues to report: some very minor edge and shelf wear and some very slight corner softening. Nothing serious on this nearly inpossible to find LP!!.
