Pickard Bordure Antique Hand-Decorated Antique China Cider Pitcher.  A wonderful Valentine's gift for the Pickard collector in your life... Description.  Hand-painted (unsigned) from a blank in Pickard's rare Bordure Antique pattern, this wonderful piece has complete gold coverage in a heavily-textured, etched hammered-effect pattern.  Featuring a rich cobalt blue band encompassing five stylized birds, this splendid pitcher stands about 6" tall, and measures 4.25” across its top and 6.25” across at its widest point; it has about a two-quart capacity.  It bears the Pickard Studio “Mark 5” on its bottom (see pic), which dates it to 1910-1912.  It appears to be in very good condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs.  There is, however, slight/minimal gilt loss from age and use (see pic).  Overall, a lovely piece.
