High Visibility – Braided Rope
The main stay of the LIFELINE fire escape ladder is the high visibility braided cord, which is manufactured to strict specifications for maximum strength.
Rungs
The rungs are injection moulded from flame retardant copolymer, which gives each rung extreme toughness and durability.
Anti-Slip Rungs
All rungs are ribbed on top so that bare feet will not slip.
Stand-Offs
Stand-Offs are triangle pieces on each rung designed so that the rung will always be off the wall, therefore fingers will not get trapped between the ladder and the wall.
Anti-Tip Rungs
When Stand-Offs dig into brickwork they are designed to ensure that the rungs cannot move and cannot be tipped.
