Dot and dab walls may be a big hit with those who build modern properties but they're not so popular with the rest of us who have to go in and fit items like radiators, kitchen units, boilers, TVs and other heavier type items to them afterwards. The irregular space between the plasterboard dry lining and the wall behind makes achieving a secure anchor into the building's blockwork hit and miss, whilst plasterboard itself usually lacks the strength to hold anything of any weight without tearing.

But here's the good news. DrylinePro changes all that.

Proven in tests to be capable of supporting up to 200kg, these next generation fixings employ an extra long plug that can be reassuringly inserted into blockwork with the help of the drill bit
supplied. A specially designed head then grips the plasterboard (without damaging it) to form a
fully supported sleeve where all of the 'pulling' load is taken by the wall and where the only load
on the plasterboard is a slight downward thrust. Those who've tried them swear by them and won't go back to anything else!
