to get started is all together in one package, and fully functional. 

Requirements:

You will be able to use this tablet with Windows XP, Windows 2000, Windows NT or Windows 98.

A serial connection on your computer for this tablet is required as well.

Usage:

Anyways, this tablet works great! It works with many painting and photoeditting programs.

This an older technology that was purchased in 1996 for $650. It is very capable of producing

very, high quality and sophisticated artwork. This is a very large Pen Tablet and is meant to be 

used for detailed artwork creation.

Resolution:

Resolution is a measure of lines per inch (lpi) multiplied by the number of square inches of the Pen Tablet.

This a fantastic deal because the UD-1212-R offers about 3x the resolution of a Small Wacom Intuos 4, 

which is over $200 plus taxes. The UD-1212-R offers about 365,000 lines x 365,000 lines of resolution

because of its large active surface area of 12" x 12" inches x 

2540 lpi

. By comparison a Small Wacom Intuos 4 offers

6.2" x 3.0" inches x 5080 lpi which is about 122,000 x 122,000 lines of resolution. I thought that might be

of some interest to some of you who may be a little nerdy like me. Bottom line here is more resolution means

more detail.

Tablet has just recently been cleaned. Those who have been following this sale should notice improvement

in cosmetic quality. If you're going to buy this tablet, remember it is 14 years old and used. It's not brand new.

Should there be any further discoloration, it is up to the buyer to clean to perfection!--with a little lighter fluid

for instance. What's important here are the topics above: what's included; usage; resolution and that it is 100%

fully functional -- an incredible package!
