This is a treasury of exercises in scales. Carl Flesch was the best. It is a supplement to Book I of the ART OF VIOLIN PLAYING. The cover was covered with contact paper to make it stronger. For such a heavy book, the cover was very fragile. The contact paper has pulled away slightly on the corner (Fig. 2) and the binding is worn at the bottom   (Fig. 3). The name of Clarke is written on the cover of many of my books. Otherwise, the book is in excellent condition inside with only a very few pages ever used.
