Fuel Tap Assembly comes with a gauze filter which will help prevent the
impurities entering your fuel system and the Petrol Tap Fibre Washer –
Part No. 140466 as seen in the pictures. It comes with 2 keys - the key
remains in the lock while the tap is open, and can only be removed when
the tap is locked. Turn the key one way for NORMAL operation and the
other for the RESERVE mode. The tap has an imperial gas thread and will
fit all pre '99 Royal Enfield Motorcycles as well as many other Vintage
British Bikes.

Please note: T0 install this Petrol tap you have
to remove the standard tap and adaptor. Please check your tank before
ordering this tap on models after 2003. The standard tap fits onto an
adaptor which in turn is screwed into the tank. On later models this
adaptor is welded into the tank and cannot be removed. Therefore this
tap will not fit. Please check the pictures to see the compatibility of
these in case you are ordering this for any other Motorcycle. We do not
