HERE'S SOMETHING THAT IS HARD TO FIND YET REASONABLY PRICED. THESE CHEVY II CAPS ARE A RARITY AND REALLY COOL TO DISPLAY IN THE TRUNK IF YOU ARE RUNNING CUSTOM WHEELS.  KIND OF FUNNY HOW SO MANY CHEVY IIs CAME WITH THESE CAPS AND HOW RARELY WE FIND THEM.  THE SAME CAP WAS ALSO USED ON THE FIRST GENERATION CHEVELLES WITH DIFFERENT CENTERS.

ON TO THE DESCRIPTION.  EACH CAP HAS A COUPLE OF BB DINGS TO FINGERPRINT SIZED DINGS.  TWO OF THE CAPS ACCORDING TO THE FORMER OWNER WERE NEW CAR TAKE OFFS BACK IN 66.  I'D SAY THAT COULD VERY WELL BE TRUE BY THE LOOKS OF THEM.  ALL FOUR ARE NICE EXAMPLES WITH TWO HAVING GREAT CENTERS AND THE OTHER TWO HAVING GOOD CENTERS. THE CAPS ARE JUST REALLY GREAT EXAMPLES FROM A DAY GONE BY.  ON A SCALE OF 1-5 WITH 5 AS THE HIGH BASED ON AGE RARITY AND CONDITION, I AM RATING TWO OF THESE A 4 PLUS PLUS, AND THE OTHER TWO A 4.  GOOD CAPS THAT COULD BE USED FOR MOST ANY APPLICATION. IF YOU KNOW THESE CARS YOU KNOW HOW HARD IT IS TO FIND THESE CAPS IN ANY CONDITION.

ONE OTHER COMMENT, WE SPENT A SEVERAL WEEKENDS AT SOME OF THE LARGEST SWAP MEETS IN THE MIDWEST OVER THE LAST YEAR.  HUNDREDS OF VENDORS, THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE AND NONE OF THESE!  TAKE A CLOSE LOOK AT THESE.

I try to be honest about what I sell.  Almost all of these old hubcaps have imperfections.  Unless you are willing to spend hundreds for a set the best you can do are look for those in decent shape which these are.

These old car parts are becoming more and more scarce.  After 6 years of selling over a 2000 items we've come to this conclusion.   If we can't sell the parts for a reasonable price, we're going to warehouse them. This is especially true of the nice parts and more unusual parts.  All they can do is go up in value.  Our point is this.  We've got the space and the means to collect and store what we sell.  Having said that don't be surprised if we run an item only once or twice and if it doesn't sell it doesn't show back up.  Please don't misunderstand us.  We want and do appreciate your business.  It just doesn't make sense to us to spend time and money relisting items over and over when almost all of these parts have only one way to go in the future.  UP.
