For your consideration is this vintage wind up Toonerville Baggage Cart
circa 1920's.    Made by the H. Fisher Co. in Germany.  This  toy is
made of tin litho that has darkened somewhat with age.  
There also is some very fine surface oxidation.   It exhibits wear
consummate with normal play.  The wind up clockwork is in working order. 
It has a very unusual steering mechanism that moves the direction
of the wheels (see photos) causing the cart to move in a figure 8. 
The under side of the toy is marked MADE IN GERMANY. 
At the steering rod is the 'Skipper' and resting on the cart is one box
that may have been glued down as I can detect a tiny amount of residue.  
I am also not sure if all the parts are present although it looks as if they are.

This is definitely a scarce item and a wonderful toy that displays well
and will compliment the Toonerville Trolley.
