This is a great model size and childrens rocker and baby furniture room decor with its beautiful colors which still look great after its age of nearly 30 years!

The horse does rock, it is signed by artist with date 1980s, and Artist name and "handpainted" "handcrafted" engraved on bottom of horse, see how I capture the artist signature and writing of this in last picture.

This is a wonderful piece for a childrens room, a small child could even ride, it weighs about 40 pounds or so, the length is about four feet it does rock solidly and well on its two sled curved shaped base. The brass handle is so beauitful and such a nice representation miniature of a real life carousel.
